Thank you for enrolling in Drawing and Watercolor through History
I am so excited to serve you as a teacher and look forward to getting to know you over the coming months. It's a wonderful journey and my wish for you is to be curious, kind to yourself and to keep your heart open as we travel together with our pencils and brushes.
Click on the image below to download your copy of my Drawing Primer. If you have not been drawing in a while, why not warm your self up for the course? Just read through the book and follow suggestions for daily practice.
You'll receive an invitation into the course site a few days before we begin. There you will find clear and concise instruction on how to navigate the course, upload your assignment images and whatever else you may need to know to get started.
One more thing! You're wondering about your art supplies, aren't you? If you've enrolled in this history of painting practicum, chances are, you already have a load of drawing and watercolor materials. However, if you need guidance or really are a beginner, I have links to my foundation course art supplies below but get in touchbefore you order, I'll be posting a new recommended list for that course very soon.
Click here for the list of our recommended foundation materials (the best quality starter package at the best price). One quick note about your art supplies. On the Blick Supply List list you'll find a (Porcelain Palette - x 1" x 7 1/4", 11 Wells, Round). I highly recommend that rather than purchase that, you use one or two white porcelain salad or dinner plates for mixing your colors.
